Travis Kelce has officially let go of his long locks. The NFL star is gearing up for the upcoming football season, and he debuted a fresh haircut in the process.
During the Kansas City Chiefs training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, on July 26, he traded his luscious ’90s-era Leonardo DiCaprio ’do for a buzzcut. Ofc, the Chiefs’ official Instagram page provided pics of his big chop, and the internet is truly divided.
“Fresh cut Trav 😮💨,” the account captioned his new cut’s hard launch.
Naturally, fans flooded the comments section hyping up the Kansas City tight end’s new buzz. Some even theorized that his haircut affects his gameplay, writing, “WE KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS. NFL DEFENSES START WORRYING,” and “Thank God… Cause that haircut last season was the one to blame. We got the dog back 🔥.”
However, those who found the longer style charming started mourning the loss. “Noooooooooo, I loved ’90s heartthrob Trav!” one fan wrote, while another added, “Oh no I loved ’90s boy band Travis.” Others jokingly referred to the chop as “an angel losing its wings.”
The Happy Gilmore 2 star’s transformation comes a few days after the NFL posted another set of photos in the earlier days of KC’s training camp. The comments section drew a similar reaction from fans, with some celebrating his 13th season playing for the league.

Others suspect that he made the chop because of the rising temps during training camp.
